Meet Our Team

Brandon  (Registered Dental Hygienist)

I grew up in New Kent County and attended Longwood College where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I then went to ODU and received a second Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. I have been a practicing dental hygienist for 15 years. I try my best to treat patients the way I would want to be treated. My favorite part of my job is helping others and helping my coworkers. Dr. Stanovick is hard working, energetic, positive, and very appreciative of his patients and staff. Our team is made up of jokesters, singers, dancers, story tellers, talented athletes, and so on and so forth. We always try to have a good time and not take life too seriously. My family members include my husband, Brian, my dog, and my cat. I love any outdoor activity, especially running, biking, hiking, and kayaking. I also like traveling to familiar and unfamiliar places, cooking, and experimenting with new dishes.

Leigh (Registered Dental Hygienist)

I grew up just down the road in Chesapeake, graduating from Hickory High school, and started my college education at Longwood College. I transferred to Old Dominion University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. After graduating, I moved to Richmond and knew I was in the right place to start my career as a dental hygienist. I began working for Dr. Stanovick in 2006 and immediately noticed how much he cared for his patients and treated them like family. Dr. Stanovick is very patient and gentle which allows his patients to feel calm and relaxed during their appointments. My family keeps me busy when I am not at the office. My husband and I have two very fun and active boys that love to do anything that requires them to be outside. We also have two sweet older dogs, a lab mix and a basset hound, that help keep our boys busy playing outside. As a family, we enjoy going to the Richmond Squirrels games, local festivals and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys during football season!

Kellyn (Registered Dental Hygienist & Front Desk)

I attended Bridgewater College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. From there I went to North Carolina for Hygiene School and graduated in 2010. I have been working with Dr. Stanovick since the late 1990s. I started out sterilizing instruments, chart filing, working the front desk and dental assisting. I knew I wanted to stay in the dental field so I pursued dental hygiene. Since Dr. Stanovick was my first dental job, I always knew I wanted to come back and work for him again. What I admire about him is he is so empathic, compassionate and has energy that is never ending. I have always enjoyed our patients as well. I enjoy getting to know people on a personal level.

Rebecca (Registered Dental Hygienist)

After graduating from Lee Davis High School in 2014 I attended Virginia Tech for two years were I studied biology. I graduated in 2019 with a bachelors in Dental Hygiene at VCU.  I admire everyone in this office for his or her love and compassion they have for their job and their patients. Dr. Stanovick is humble and compassionate both as a dentist and as a friend; I am lucky to call myself an employee of Dr. Paul.

Brittany  (Dental Assistant)

I knew at a young age that I wanted to be in the dental field. I completed two years in the dental assistant course at the Chesterfield County Technical Center. I have been a dental assistant for 6 years, and I could not imagine doing anything else! I hit the jackpot when I started working for Dr. Stanovick. He treats all of his patients like family, and he loves giving them beautiful smiles. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy playing with our two dogs: Marley, a black lab, and Khloe, a dachshund. We also enjoy biking, fishing, and hanging out with friends.

Keeping Ahead of COVID-19

Providing a safe environment for treatment and control for infectious disease is always a priority at Paul Stanovick DDS. Our expansive reception area and large outdoor deck provides space to easily support regulations surrounding social distancing. The treatment rooms provide an extra layer of protection as they are sanitized between each patient and provide clean air through air purifiers located in each room. You will see some changes during your next appointment as we have added precautions to protect patients and staff. You will be asked to enter the building with use of facial protection and asked to wear it until you are in the treatment room. Hand sanitizer is also available throughout the whole building for your use. You may notice that our magazine and children’s books have been removed from the reception area as they are harder to disinfect. We have installed plexiglass around our front reception area for added distancing between front staff and patients waiting for appointments. Air purifiers have been placed in every operatory with two larger purifiers in the front and back of the office. We have provided face shields, lab jackets and barrier gowns for all clinical staff. Our hours of operation will still remain Monday -Friday 8am-5pm. We are looking forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about treatment and the safety precautions we are taking here at the practice. If you would like to make an appointment you can give us a call or text 804.781.1919. Thank you for your patience during these changing times and for your trust in us with taking care of your dental needs. Sincerely, Dr. Paul Stanovick, Dr. Brant Stanovick, and Staff.
